Author Michael Zoglio is being recognized in the latest issue of Providence College magazine for his compelling novel, Escape from Ground Zero.

The book explores the hidden world of stolen art—revealing how masterpieces are trafficked, traded, and sometimes lost without a trace—set against the backdrop of the September 11 attacks. Beginning with the infamous Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum theft, the story weaves together history, suspense, and redemption, ultimately offering a hopeful vision centered on the recovery of lost works.

Zoglio brings a unique perspective to his writing. An entrepreneur and volunteer business coach, he also spent 20 years working as a private investigator specializing in missing persons cases—experience that adds depth and authenticity to his storytelling.

In addition to its gripping narrative, Escape from Ground Zero also supports a meaningful cause. Proceeds from book sales benefit Undue Medical Debt, helping families in need.
