📺11/10/25: Tune in to WJAR-TV’s Studio 10 with Mario Hilario at 12:30 PM for a special Veterans Day interview with Greg Lato about his inspiring project, DANDELION: Songs Inspired by Military Kids and Families. 🪖✨𓇢𓆸
A heartfelt thank-you to all who serve — and their families who serve alongside them. “Dandelion” reminds viewers that service extends beyond the uniform to spouses and children showing daily courage. Music helps connect communities on Veterans Day and beyond, promoting hope and unity.🎖️
“Dandelion” celebrates the resilience of military kids — children who move frequently, adapt quickly, and support their parents serving our country. The songs on this album highlight courage, connection, and creativity inspired by real stories from military families.
The project was created to honor and uplift military families, especially the children who serve in their own quiet way. “Dandelion” symbolizes strength and growth wherever life plants you — just like military kids starting over in new places. Collaboration involved educators, military parents, and kids who shared experiences of friendship, change, and pride. Greg’s goal: to use music to spark empathy and understanding among civilian audiences and encourage support for military communities. The project includes lesson materials and performances available to schools and family centers. 🌼❤️
