Guitarist and composer John Stein along with special guest vocalist Cindy Scott, will be at the Wamsutta Club in downtown New Bedford for the release of his latest CD, No Goodbyes. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 28 and is presented by Whaling City Sound. Proceeds benefit the YWCA of Southeastern Mass.

The Marion Art Center’s Unplugged in the MAC Gallery returns this fall with two new programs scheduled in the MAC’s Patsy Francis Gallery (upstairs). Dave Zinno will be on bass and is scheduled for Friday, November 17. Tickets for one set are just $12 for MAC members and $15 for nonmembers.
Steve Riley may have been sidelined by COVID last year and forced to miss his usual visit north to play at the annual Rhythm & Roots Festival, but the Grammy-winning musician will be back this year with a little something extra.
