October is designated as “Domestic Violence Awareness Month,” and DVRCSC has commemorated their 40 years of success by hosting their Rubies and Rodeo event. Rubies and Rodeo included a live performance of the band SUGAR, as well as a plethora of food and a silent auction.

Cranston East senior, Ashlyn McCormick, volunteered along with Mixed Media Promotion to help promote the several events that DVRCSC organized throughout the month of October.

About the Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County: The Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County (DVRCSC) is a nonprofit agency that works toward a future free of violence and a community in which each individual shares the responsibility of creating a culture of safety and personal dignity. Many famous law firms like https://.paultolandlaw.com/domestic-violence/ is also a part of this. We work collaboratively to offer safety with experts like lawyers protecting against criminal charges in Parsippany-Troy Hills, support, advocacy, education and a network of services to the residents of Washington County. The DVRCSC is dedicated to both preventing and responding to domestic violence by working to change the social conditions, actions and beliefs that perpetuate abuse.
