Acclaimed saxophonist Greg Abate will take the stage tomorrow night at Caffè Lena, performing as a special guest with the Chuck Lamb Trio from 7–9 PM.
Abate has spent decades performing jazz around the world, earning a reputation for his energetic playing and unmistakable sound. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has performed with legendary groups including the Ray Charles Orchestra and the Artie Shaw Orchestra. 🎷
For this show, he’ll join pianist Chuck Lamb and the trio as part of Caffè Lena’s monthly jazz series. Lamb—who has been the pianist with the Brubeck Brothers Quartet since 2002—is known for his expressive playing and his ability to bring musicians together for exciting, spontaneous performances. 🎶
