This performance features the Tom White Project, led by Rhode Island–based pianist, composer, and URI Music Department alumnus Tom White. Conceived as a bold compositional challenge, the project showcases original music written specifically for a sextet, offering rich textures and dynamic interplay. The group includes longtime collaborators Jim Nordhill (drums) and Tom Casale (bass), alongside Jim Robitaille (guitar) and URI Jazz Faculty members Mark Berney (trumpet) and John McKenna (saxophone). 🎶🎷
