Swanage Jazz Festival
The Swanage Jazz Festival, revivified by guitarist Nigel Price (see Simon Spillett, JJ 0118), boasts a burgeoning lineup this summer. Over a single weekend, 13-15 July, it crams in an extensive programme of concerts and other events.
The festival weekend will also include shows from acts including the Alan Barnes Octet, Tony Jacobs’ Tuxedo Jazz Orchestra, Bateman Brothers Jazz Band, Tony Kofi’s Portrait of Cannonball, Scott Hamilton, Champian Fulton, Ian Bateman, Craig Milverton, Phronesis, Brass Volcanoes, Clark Tracey Quintet, Simon Spillett Quartet, Pete Oxley/Nic Meier Quartet, Greg Abate
