The Year in Arts: New events, old traditions marked 2023 in the local arts scene
Bob Orsi vocalist for New England’s Mighty Soul Drivers belts out a tune as the band opened the 25th anniversary Rhythm & Roots music festival on the Rhythm Stage at Ninigret Park in Charlestown under blue skies on Friday afternoon, September 1, 2023. The festival that runs through the weekend drew a good opening day crowd and spaces in the campgrounds were sold out.
