5.1.19: Eric Wyatt Mentioned in the Philly Jazz Guide!
“The Key” to a performers success is providing a beautiful, well developed performance for their viewers, and that is exactly what Eric Wyatt and the Mike Boone Trio do. Earlier this month the group was mentioned in the Philadelphia news letter. Twelve year old drum prodigy, Mekhi Boone, son of Mike Boone, played during the groups set. This month the age-diverse and talented group performed in Philly at Chris’s Jazz Cafe as well as at the Center City Fest and both performances were a hit! Eric Wyatt on the saxophone killed it. His skills originated with his father’s passion for the instrument. It then got passed onto Eric and ever since he has not only thrived but he also works to inspire other young jazz musicians. 5.17.19- Eric Wyatt with the Mike Boone Trio Performance Success!
This past Friday, May 17th, Eric Wyatt with the Mike Boone Trio performed two sets at Chris’ Jazz Cafe! The night also featured Tim Brey, Mike Boone and twelve-year-old drummer Mekhi Boone! The musicians joined together to perform a beautiful jazz composition. Check it out on YouTube and stay tuned for the groups next performance!

5.16.19- Cranston East Convocation
This past week, Cranston High School East had hosted their annual Academic Convocation where senior students, who have exemplified honorary qualities and grades, are recognized in the form of rewards or even scholarships! It is a chance to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work these students have put forth during their high school career. One of Mixed Media Promotions assistants herself, earned two awards- one in the category of academics and the other from being an active member in the National Honors Society. Not only that but she also earned a scholarships that she will put towards her post-secondary education! Congratulations to all the honorary students and good-luck in your future endeavors! It’s not always easy but it sure as heck is worth it!
