D. Oscar Gomez- Drummer Steve Langone forms a trio with Dave Zinno (b) and Kevin Harris (p). They came together in Boston getting educated, teaching and performing. While this is Steve’s trio, he takes an understated role with few if any solos. He does a good job of integrating the team through nine selections. Each of the musicians contributes an original with Zinno giving two of his compositions. Breathe is a relaxing session that is mostly midtempo and ballads that serves as good background listening.
