On Monday night, the current lineup of Leftover Salmon played an hour and a half set of all of the songs from their newest album, Something Higher, to a packed audience of Salmon faithful at Bowery Electricin New York City. Tickets went on sale months in advance and sold out quickly. With newest members Alwyn Robinson on drums and Erik Deutsch on keys, the current lineup really brings the mountains of Colorado to the city of New York (both Robinson and Deutsch are from Brooklyn!).

Leftover Salmon likes to define their sound as “Polyethnic Cajun Slamgrass”, though last night’s show sounded more like “Polyethnic Psychedelic Jamgrass”, and much of that has to do with the addition of Deutsch on keys. The show opened with Vince playing Drew’s electric guitar while Drew played Vince’s acoustic.
